What is Charnwood 20:20?
Charnwood 20:20 is a charitable trust that addresses the most pressing social needs in Charnwood, East Midlands UK, and is developing its status as a key partner with like-minded organisations.
Our aims
Our overall aims are to;
- Be proactive and purposeful in responding to society and individual issues through the setting up of community projects and schemes.
- Strengthen and grow current community work that has been established by the King's Church Trust in order that each project becomes more effective and efficient in reaching its goals.
- Work alongside other organisations and agencies to directly challenge and change the root of social and individual problems. Aim to affect policy and procedure at the very highest level in order to make positive changes for people who find themselves in positions of hardship and need across the country.
- Maximise social work within the community by putting on training and development schemes that strengthen the skill and abilities of those running community projects.
- Develop the relationships between community agencies so that there is a unified approach in the work that is being done.
